I REACHED 50,000 WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually got over the 50K mark! Now, I just need to finish turning my last three pages of 2,000 words of notes into actual sentences! (even without those notes, I've still reached 50K) *squee*

Slight edit: Apparently, on Facebook, if you say you're in a relationship and don't specify who it's with, you will instantly get pelted with online FB messages, MSN IM's, and texts ... And then you feel bad when you tell them that you're in a relationship with food, so you think maybe you should just insert some random name to make everyone feel better (maybe not that random person though) ... Any name offers? XD

I've just finished writing for tonight - absolutely tired now - and I've just gone over 41,000 words!!!!! *woot*

I'm just shy of my goal for today, but since I've been sick the last few days, I'm bloody happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <- exclamation points are an indicator of my happiness :P

Now I have four more days to write 9,000 words! Wish me luck :D ... I just hope I don't finish the story and run out of something to write!! :S

And you should be proud to know that I haven't played QWERTY warriors or Rings of Orbis in two whole days! ... mostly because of being sick, but still! ... My slaves are probably dead now, dammit! -_-'

Oh no ... I feel pretty from West Side Story is playing on my iTunes ... and right when I want to go to bed, so I'll go to sleep with that in my head now ... *facepalm* ... and it's probably worse that I know all the words, right?

I've just gone over 24,000 words! *yay*

Of course, according to the NaNo Stats, I'm supposed to reach 33,333 words in order to achieve the 50,000 words! ... only 9,333 words to go!

$60.90 ... I know, read it again - SIXTY DOLLARS AND NINETY CENTS... I'm so freaking happy that I'm not even going to see how much the books are from bookstores, because I *know* that I saved anywhere up to $100!

The lady there was soooo nice, and gave me a lot of it discounted further (eg. oh, five books for $7.95? I'll just give them to you for $7, etc.). If it wouldn't have been weird/creepy, I would have hugged her just from my giddy happiness!!

Okay, I've just deleted one of my icons, giving me the total of ONE free icon to replace it with! *yay* ... yes, I'm a cheap-skate, and no, I'm not going to pay for the paid account - I'm quite happy to just post without all the fancy-schmancy stuff!

Instead of writing for NaNoWriMo (or writing my FF... bad, I know!) I've been procrastinating by looking at books and prices online ... after you hear about this, I know you'll love me for it! :P

Okay, after being told about this site by people at work - book depository - (yes, I'm blaming them instead of Joss this time! shock), I went on the moment I went home, and checked for that list of books I tried to get for my birthday.

I actually checked eBay for all of the items - only 8 out of 16 were for sale (I admit that I didn't look for the last three items - the Charlie Bone series, Michael J. Fox's first memoir, or Barack Obama's Audacity of Hope) - and that would have cost me $89.55 with all of the postage fees.

Now on this site, it is FREE WORLDWIDE POSTAGE ... that's right... I'll give you a minute to re-read it and get past the shock :P hehe ... and of those 16 items, only one wasn't available. The total price of the 15 items was $111.22 ... but if I only bought the 8 that were available on eBay, it would equal $57.34 (oh, this is all in AUD, by the way) ... so I'm freaking ecstatic, and I want to buy everything right now! *happiness* ... I obviously can't, but I'm so happy I got told about that site!!!! XD

My brain is going on and on and on with ideas! I see something, and immediately find a way to link it to fan fiction, into an original story, or just make up a back story to it It would be great if I could write them all down / remember them all, but that's just not possible.

I've started writing a Glee fanfic - Puck/OC ... When I started writing, it was the third one, but since I haven't posted it, there's now about eight Puck/OC stories! I'm already a chapter or two into it, but I'm not confident enough to post it on FanFiction yet, since I'm in a different country and therefore two episodes behind, and just going by Wikipedia/Fox entries about later episodes...

I've also entered myself in the NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writing Month. It starts on the 1st of November (this Sunday) and finishes on the 30th ... The goal is to finish an original 50,000 word novel, so if you don't hear from me for a while, that's probably the reason! I'll probably post on here to tell of my woes, etc.etc.etc.

I'm still writing my featured fanfics, don't worry! ... Hoping to post the last instalment of the Halloween series this weekend, in time for Halloween! *yay* ... then I'll post them on FanFiction just for a double dose of Halloween-y goodness ... Yes, I did just say Halloween-y

Parkour, a definition: A philosophy and method of movement through any environment with speed and efficiency. The concept is to overcome all physical and mental obstacles in your path by using your body and mind to run, climb, jump and vault.

What I think it means: Using the environment around you to move from A to B and not letting restrictions (such as stair rails, trees, cars, or even buildings) stop you or get in your way... Plus, a good way to exercise, get discipline, and make friends!

A lot of training is needed for these stunts, so just a warning: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME (or anywhere else) WITHOUT THE PROPER TRAINING, SUPERVISION, etc.etc.etc.

Obviously it means 'to be in awe of', so that's where the 'awe' part comes from... but the 'some' bit has been driving me nuts! How can you mean 'some awe' when 'awesome' is meant to be the most absolute feeling of awe possible?! ... So I went searching (thank you, dictionary!) and found out that the suffix 'some' comes from the old English 'sum', which came from Latin's 'summus' which means 'highest' ... so literally translated, awesome means: highest awe
(Sum also comes from the word 'summa', meaning 'main part', or 'sum total' ... but I didn't think either of those fit for this word!)
